Last updated: 4 October 2026. Every screenshot below was recorded that day on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Nigeria, over a Nigerian connection. We stopped before the final payment button, so no money was sent.
To deposit on IQ Option from Nigeria, you open the cashier, choose bank transfer, OPay or PalmPay, set naira (NGN) as your account currency, enter at least ₦14,000 and fill in your name and phone number. This guide shows each step with bank transfer on the Nigerian cashier. It then covers OPay and PalmPay, card deposits, the official minimums and how withdrawals to Nigerian banks and OPay work.
Quick answer
- Minimum: ₦14,000 for every method, or $10, €10 or £10.
- Fee: 0% from IQ Option on every method.
- Time: bank transfer, OPay and PalmPay 1–15 minutes; Mastercard and e-wallets instant.
- Limits we saw: bank transfer ₦14,000–8,400,000; OPay ₦14,000–400,000; Mastercard ₦14,000–15,215,042.
- Pay the exact amount: an underpayment is not credited at all, and an overpayment credits only the invoice amount.
- Withdrawals: one free per month, then 2% (at most ₦47,620); to OPay or 5 Nigerian banks from ₦15,500.
How to deposit on IQ Option in Nigeria, step by step
We followed the steps with bank transfer, the first method the Nigerian cashier recommends. The numbers in each screenshot show where to click, in order.
Step 1: Click Deposit
In the traderoom, click the green Deposit button at the top right, next to your balance (1). On our Nigerian account the top bar also had an Islamic account switch (OFF), which IQ Option describes as trading in accordance with Islamic finance principles.

Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
The Make a Deposit window shows your free Practice balance ($10,000) and your real account, which on a Nigerian account is in naira (₦0.00). Refill to $10,000 only refills the Practice account with virtual money, which cannot be withdrawn. To deposit real money, click Top up your account (1).

Step 3: Choose bank transfer
The Nigerian cashier recommends two bank transfer options and OPay. Below them it lists seven cryptocurrencies, PalmPay, Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, Google Pay and e-wallets. The first bank transfer option is listed at 1 to 15 minutes; the second shows “Fast verification”. Click the first Bank transfer (1).

Step 4: Choose naira (NGN) as your account currency
Before your first deposit, the cashier asks for the currency of your real account. A Nigerian account can choose NGN, EUR, GBP or USD. Select NGN (1) and click Next (2). IQ Option warns that you cannot change the currency after your first deposit. If you pay and withdraw in naira, NGN keeps your balance in naira.

Step 5: Enter the amount and check the bonus
Type the amount (1) or click one of the quick amounts. Bank transfer accepted ₦14,000 to ₦8,400,000 on our account, and the field marks anything outside that range in red.
The welcome-bonus code IQWELCOME was already applied (2). On ₦14,000 it added 50% (₦7,000), and the quick amounts showed up to +100% from ₦450,000. If you do not want a bonus, remove the code with the × before you pay, and read the bonus terms behind the (i) icon first.

Step 6: Enter your details and confirm
Read the note and enter your first name, last name and phone number (1). The phone number goes in international format, 13 digits starting with 234. The note asks you to pay the exact amount shown on the invoice:
- if you pay more, only the invoice amount is credited and the excess is refunded;
- if you pay less, nothing is credited and the full amount is refunded.
Tick the box to accept the terms (2) and click Proceed to Payment (3). IQ Option then sends you to the payment page to complete the payment. We stopped at this screen and did not pay.

| Method | Time shown in the cashier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer | 1–15 minutes | ₦14,000 to ₦8,400,000; a second bank transfer option shows “Fast verification” |

| PalmPay | 1–15 minutes | |
| Mastercard | Instant | ₦14,000 to ₦15,215,042 |
| Visa | “Fast verification” | |

Every method on IQ Option’s deposits page has 0% commission.

Paying with OPay
OPay accepted ₦14,000 to ₦400,000, and its quick amounts stopped at ₦112,500. The form was the same as for bank transfer: the exact-amount note, your first and last name and your phone number in 13-digit international format. Tick the terms and click Proceed to Payment. The cashier lists OPay, like PalmPay, at 1 to 15 minutes.
Depositing with a bank card in Nigeria
Mastercard and Visa are in the Nigerian cashier’s list of other methods. Choose your card, set the currency and enter the amount: the Mastercard form accepted ₦14,000 to ₦15,215,042 (1). Then enter the card number, the expiry date (MM/YY), the cardholder’s name and the CVC, the three digits on the back of the card (2). Accept the terms and confirm the deposit. Use a card in your own name.

Depositing with crypto from Nigeria
The Nigerian cashier listed the same seven coins we saw in other countries: Bitcoin, USDC (BNB Smart Chain), Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, Tether (USDT, TRC20), XRP and Cardano, each at 5 to 60 minutes. IQ Option converts the coins to your account currency, so you do not hold crypto on the platform. See does IQ Option accept crypto for the full steps.
Withdrawing from IQ Option in Nigeria
IQ Option’s withdrawals page for a Nigerian account gives you one free withdrawal per calendar month, whatever the method (1). After that, IQ Option charges 2%, at most ₦47,620 (or $30, €30 or £25).
- Nigerian banks: from ₦15,500 (2). Guaranty Trust Bank, Zenith Bank, United Bank for Africa and Access Bank take 1 to 24 hours; First Bank takes 1 to 3 business days.
