Olymp Trade’s facts come from its own public pages, read that day without an account: the home page, Account, Statuses, Free demo account, Withdrawals, Regulation, Assets, Technical analysis tools, the trading modes, the apps, Promotions, Contacts and its legal documents (Service Agreement parts 1 and 2, the Non-trading Transactions Regulation, the Terms of Provision of Additional Software and the Bonus Welcome Program terms). The Binomo figures in the three-way table are from the Binomo pages we read the same day for our IQ Option vs Binomo page. IQ Option’s facts come from our recordings on a Practice account registered in Brazil (22 October: trade limits, payouts, asset counts, tournaments and scripts; 4 and 5 October: deposits, withdrawals and fees) and from IQ Option’s public pages, read on 22 October. We did not register at Olymp Trade or Binomo, log in or trade there, and we deposited no money anywhere.

IQ Option, Olymp Trade and Binomo all state a $10 minimum deposit (IQ Option for most payment methods). Outside the EEA, IQ Option is run by a company registered in Antigua and Barbuda and Olymp Trade mainly by one registered in Vanuatu, and neither is better on every point. What decides the choice is your country, the trade limit ($20,000 at IQ Option, $3,000 to $5,000 at Olymp Trade by status), how each company words its regulation, what a withdrawal can cost and what the platform offers besides trading.
This page compares what each company says on its own pages with what we recorded on IQ Option, and every figure carries its date. Most searches that reach it name Binomo too, so one short table puts all three side by side. It says plainly where Olymp Trade offers something IQ Option does not. It makes no claim about whose trades will win: with all three companies a trade can lose the whole stake.
This material is not intended for viewers from EEA countries. Binary options are not promoted or sold to retail EEA traders.
Quick answer: IQ Option vs Olymp Trade in 9 points
- Cost to start: a $10 minimum deposit (for most payment methods at IQ Option) and a $1 minimum trade at both (and at Binomo).
- Trade size: IQ Option up to $20,000; Olymp Trade $3,000 to $5,000 in Fixed Time, by status.
- Payout as stated: IQ Option’s Binary list showed 85% to 93% on 22 October; Olymp Trade says up to 85%, and 89%, 93% or 95% on 2, 6 or 10 assets at higher statuses.
- Demo: 10,000 of refillable virtual money at both; Binomo’s demo stops at 30 trades until the first deposit.
- Withdrawals: IQ Option: the first one each calendar month is free, then 2%. Olymp Trade: “Zero withdrawal fees*”, with exceptions (USDT, crypto, non-trading activity).
- Inactive account: IQ Option €10 after 90 days without activity if the account holds funds (its fees policy says every month, its FAQ “annual fee”); Olymp Trade may charge a fee of its own choosing after 6 months.
- Regulation: Olymp Trade says it is “licensed and regulated” by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (we did not check the register); IQ Option’s CySEC licence covers its EEA company only, and its terms send unresolved complaints to the Financial Commission.
- Countries: neither IQ Option’s nor Olymp Trade’s list of countries not served names Brazil (Binomo’s does), but IQ Option’s pages carry a notice that it is not authorized by Brazil’s CVM. The EEA, UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Russia are on all three lists.
- Scripts: IQ Option imports script files (70 free files in our library). Olymp Trade’s pages list built-in indicators and strategies, some locked by status, and no import.

Who might prefer which
This is by feature, not a ranking. Each line follows from a fact in the tables above; the sections below give the detail.
You might prefer IQ Option if:
- You want larger trades: $20,000 against $3,000 to $5,000 at Olymp Trade.
- You want scripts on the chart: IQ Option imports script files, and Olymp Trade’s pages describe built-in indicators and strategies that depend on your status.
- You want the fee amounts written down: IQ Option’s General Fees Policy gives €10 a month for an inactive account and 2% from the second withdrawal of a month, while Olymp Trade leaves its inactivity fee “at its discretion”.
- You want a large list of options and margin instruments counted on one menu (Blitz 120, Binary 132, Digital 117, Margin 770 on 22 October), while Olymp Trade’s own pages give four different asset counts.
You might prefer Olymp Trade if:
- You want a regulator named: Olymp Trade says it is “licensed and regulated” by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission, which IQ Option’s page for clients outside the EEA does not claim for its company. We did not check the Vanuatu register.
- You want very short trades or a range mode: Fixed Time trades from five seconds, Quickler’s 5-second trades and InZone’s fixed 110% return.
- You want “zero withdrawal fees” as the rule, with exceptions, and a published speed statistic (“Over 70%” within 1 hour).
- You want a phone number: Olymp Trade’s Contacts page lists a 24/7 hotline in Malta, where IQ Option’s lists an e-mail address only.
- You live in a country that IQ Option’s terms list and Olymp Trade’s agreement does not, for example Ukraine.
Try IQ Option on a Practice account first
A Practice account uses virtual money and needs no deposit; our guide shows the steps. The button opens IQ Option’s sign-up page and is an affiliate link, as the disclosure at the top says.
Risk: trading carries a high risk of loss. A deposit is real money, a trade can lose the whole stake, and nothing on this page predicts a result.
Where Olymp Trade offers something IQ Option does not
Seven things, as far as the pages we read show. IQ Option’s side is checked against our own recordings and its public pages of 22 October.
- A regulator named for the operating company. Olymp Trade’s footer says the services are provided by Aollikus Limited, “a licensed financial dealer”, Port Vila, Vanuatu, and its Regulation page says it is “licensed and regulated” by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission. IQ Option’s Licenses and Safeguards page names a CySEC licence for its EEA company only. We did not check the Vanuatu register, so this is Olymp Trade’s statement.
- A compensation amount on its public Regulation page. The page says Olymp Trade joined the Financial Commission on February 22, 2016, that clients get free legal assistance with disputes, and that “a trader is eligible to receive up to €20,000 in compensation” if wrongdoing is proven. IQ Option’s Terms & Conditions (section 14, clause 5) also let you refer an unresolved complaint to “the Financial Commission, an independent external dispute-resolution organisation”, but we found no compensation amount on IQ Option’s pages for clients outside the EEA, and its Licenses and Safeguards page names no dispute body.
- Independent verification of trades. Its “Why Olymptrade” page says all trades are “verified independently by VerifyMyTrade”. IQ Option’s Licenses and Safeguards page says “regular internal and external audits” take place, but we found no auditor named and no verification of trades on IQ Option’s pages.
- Very short trades and a range mode. Fixed Time trades last “anywhere from five seconds up to a month”; Quickler trades last 5 seconds; InZone pays “a fixed 110% return rate” if the price ends inside a range. On 22 October the two Blitz assets we opened on IQ Option showed expirations of 1 minute (EUR/USD) and 30 seconds (USD/HKD OTC); we did not check every asset or every expiry.
- A phone line. The Contacts page lists “24/7 Hotline, Malta”. IQ Option’s Contact page lists support@iqoption.com only.
- Broker-built AI tools. A “Smart RSI” AI assistant that gives “real-time market signals” on the platform, and an “AI Trading” app, marked “Coming soon”, in which “the AI model will open a trade automatically”. IQ Option’s pages mention signals too (“automatic signals” from its Live Strategies, “market signals” for VIPs) and an AI chatbot for questions (“Got questions? AI Bot will help”), but we found no AI assistant that reads charts and no AI mode that opens trades.
- Some countries. Olymp Trade’s agreement does not name Afghanistan, Ukraine, Syria and 13 other places that IQ Option’s terms do, and neither of its two lists names Brazil, the United Arab Emirates or Singapore (Binomo’s does).
The other way round, IQ Option offers a trade limit 4 to 6.7 times as high as Olymp Trade’s Fixed Time maximums, script import and a stated amount for its inactive-account fee. Olymp Trade’s pages show none of these.
For step-by-step Olymp Trade guides, see our sister site Olymp Trade Wiki. Every Olymp Trade fact on this page comes from Olymp Trade’s own public pages, not from that site.
Countries each company does not serve
Both companies publish a list. They are not the same list.
Olymp Trade. Clause 11.1 of both parts of its Service Agreement says “The Company does not operate in or provide services to persons associated with the following countries and (or) their dependent, associated or affiliated territories”. Part 1 (effective 1 February 2017) names 53 places, Part 2 (effective 1 November 2017) 54: it adds Belarus. They include every EEA country, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Israel, Russia and China, and also Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, New Zealand, Switzerland, Serbia, Mauritius, Puerto Rico, Vanuatu and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Neither names Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Hong Kong or Ukraine. Both parts of the Service Agreement were still listed on its legal information page on 22 October.
IQ Option. Clause 3.1 of its Terms & Conditions (the PDF the site lists as updated 21 October 2026) bars citizens of the USA, North Korea, Palestine and the Vatican, and residents of a list that includes the USA, Canada, Afghanistan, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Cuba, Iran, Israel, Japan, Syria, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, “any country of the European Economic Area and/or other non-serviced countries”. Sixteen of its names are not on Olymp Trade’s Part 2 list (Afghanistan, Bouvet Island, Comoros, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guam, Haiti, Libya, Mali, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine and the Vatican). Clause 3.1(b) adds that you must not reside “in any country where distribution or provision of the financial products or services offered by the Company would be contrary to local laws or regulations”, and that it is your responsibility to check them.
Brazil. Neither IQ Option’s terms nor Olymp Trade’s agreement name Brazil, and we opened an IQ Option Practice account there on 4 October 2026. But a notice at the foot of IQ Option’s pages, which we saw from a Brazilian address on 22 October, says IQ Option “is not authorized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) to directly offer securities distribution services to investors resident, domiciled, or incorporated in the Federative Republic of Brazil”. Binomo’s agreement and Help Center name Brazil as a country it does not serve. We read the Olymp Trade and Binomo pages from a United Kingdom address, so a notice shown only to visitors in Brazil would not have appeared to us.
Not being named on a company’s list does not make its service legal or licensed where you live. Check your own country’s rules and your national regulator’s website for each company name, and use our country availability helper for the rules of this site. This page does not compare regulators’ warning lists for Olymp Trade or Binomo; Is IQ Option legit? covers the notices we found for IQ Option.
Regulation: what each company says about itself
We compare the pages, not the companies’ reputations.
IQ Option (Licenses and Safeguards page, read on 22 October 2026, word for word the same as on 5 October). “Our services in jurisdictions outside the European Economic Area are rendered by SKY LADDER LLC”, registered in Antigua and Barbuda (registration ILLC 004). Inside the EEA, services come from IQBroker Europe Ltd, which “is authorized and operates under the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) with license number 247/14 and is permitted to offer services only to residents of the EEA”. So the one licence the page names covers EEA residents only, and the page names no financial licence for SKY LADDER LLC. It also says client funds are held in segregated bank accounts, and that “regular internal and external audits” take place. Its Terms & Conditions (section 14, clause 5) add that an unresolved complaint can be referred to “the Financial Commission, an independent external dispute-resolution organisation”; we found no compensation amount on IQ Option’s pages for clients outside the EEA.
Olymp Trade (Regulation page, home page footer and Why Olymptrade page, read on 22 October 2026). The Regulation page says “Olymptrade is a licensed and regulated broker by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission”, shows a “Financial dealer license”, and describes the Financial Markets Association in Vanuatu as “a self-regulatory body for Vanuatu Financial Dealer License holders”. It calls the International Financial Commission “an alternative dispute resolution center established to protect the interests of individual traders” and says Olymp Trade joined it on February 22, 2016. The complaint path runs from support through its own Claims Department, and only then to the Financial Commission, within 45 days. The footer names Aollikus Limited (company number 40131, Port Vila, Vanuatu) as the provider, and Saledo Global LLC (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) for clients trading in digital assets or holding accounts in digital assets. Its Non-trading Transactions Regulation (clause 3.1) says client funds are held on company accounts, “including segregated accounts opened in the name of the Company to hold the Client’s funds separately from the Company’s funds”. We did not open the certificate or check the Vanuatu register.
What that means. Olymp Trade names a licence from a regulator and a dispute body on its Regulation page; IQ Option’s Licenses and Safeguards page names no licence for its non-EEA company and no dispute body, though it names a CySEC licence for its EEA company, and its terms name the same dispute body for unresolved complaints. A licence is not a guarantee, a membership is not a licence, and a licence for another company or another country is not a licence for you. Binomo’s pages name a Financial Commission membership and no licence (details on our IQ Option vs Binomo page).
Deposits, withdrawals and fees
Deposits. IQ Option’s deposits page, read on 22 October from a Brazilian address, listed Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Skrill, Volet.com, Apple Pay and Google Pay, each from 10 USD, at 0% commission and instant. Our country guides (4 and 5 October) found the equivalent of $10 for most methods, for example R$ 55 in Brazil and 175 MXN in Mexico (a few local methods ask for more, up to $27), and local methods such as PIX, PicPay and Boleto Rapido in Brazil, which the Deposits page does not list but the home page names; see the minimum deposit by country. IQ Option’s General Fees Policy (updated 10 June 2025) reserves a currency conversion fee of up to 4% on deposits and withdrawals. Olymp Trade’s FAQ says “The minimum deposit amount is 10 dollars or euros”. Its public pages name no payment brands. Its Non-trading Transactions Regulation (section 5, “Ways to make deposits on a Client’s account”) lists bank transfer, electronic transfer from your own e-wallet and transfer from a bank card of an international payment system, which must be “registered only in his name”, and says funds go to the company’s accounts or to those of authorized payment agents (“The Company may post the list of authorized payment agents and their bank details on the trading terminal”). Its Why Olymptrade page says “Enjoy commission-free deposits and withdrawals”, its Trading page “With 130 payment methods and 17 currencies available for deposits and withdrawals” and its Account page “Trusted payment options”; its Withdrawals page counts 23 withdrawal methods.
IQ Option withdrawals. The withdrawals page (22 October, Brazilian view) says “You have 1 free withdrawal(s) per calendar month. This doesn’t depend on the payment method you use.” A later withdrawal in the month costs 2%, at most $30 on a dollar account; the General Fees Policy (text of 5 October) also offers an optional “fixed 5% (five percent) withdrawal fee for an expedited withdrawal option”, processed “within 1 business day” for “all types of withdrawals except bank card refunds and bank transfers”. The page listed 28 methods from Brazil with a minimum from 2 USD (cards, Skrill, Volet.com) to 13 USD (18 methods named after Brazilian banks and financial firms), no maximum column, and a note that “Payment providers may have specific transaction limits, restrictions, and requirements”. The times by method were “Instant*” for cards, “1 – 24 hours” for the e-wallets, the crypto and 11 of those banks, and “1 – 8 business days” for the other seven. The page adds “Please allow up to 3 business days for your withdrawal request to be processed”; a card refund can take up to 21 calendar days at your bank. IQ Option’s Help page on withdrawing funds, read the same day, gives the minimum for bank transfers in Brazil as 150.00BRL and says “If you choose another method, the minimum amount is still 12 BRL”; our own check on a Brazilian account on 4 October showed R$60 for a bank transfer and R$12 by card, and the Withdrawals page lists 13 USD for the banks. The Help page also says “The standard maximum time limit for bank transfers is 1–8 business days”, as the Withdrawals page does for seven of those 18. These sources do not agree on the bank minimum, so the cashier is where you see the amount that applies to you. You can send back to a card only what you deposited with it. See IQ Option fees and commissions and how to withdraw. IQ Option’s fair-usage rule (General Fees Policy, text of 5 October) lets it withhold its transaction fees and charge an administrative penalty of up to 5% of the withdrawal if you withdraw “all, most, or substantial amounts (for example, more than 50%)” of a deposit “without executing genuine trades”.
Olymp Trade withdrawals. The Withdrawals page says “Olymptrade normally offers fee-free withdrawals, except in specific cases”: a “small network fee” for USDT, a commission for other cryptocurrencies, and, in its words, “To comply with regulations and prevent fraud, fees may apply if user deposits/withdraws without trading or uses multiple accounts”. The minimum is $10 or €10. The page says “Over 70% of withdrawal requests are processed within 1 hour, and most others within 24 hours” (its own statistic: 70% under 1 hour, 25% under 24 hours, 5% other) and that you can withdraw daily with “flexible withdrawal limits” without giving a maximum; it counts 23 withdrawal methods. The Statuses page ties priority to your status: “Normal priority” with withdrawals “Completed within 24 hours” at Basic, up to “a few hours” at Pro and Elite. Its Non-trading Transactions Regulation adds that funds go back to the payment instrument you deposited with, that it sets “the conversion rate, the amount of the commission, and other costs for each method of debiting the funds” and may change them “at any time at its discretion”, and that minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts “differentiated depending on the debiting method” are shown in your dashboard when you submit a request. Clause 6.8 says the company decides on a withdrawal “within 5 (five) working days”, except in cases of suspicious transactions and technical failures, and clause 6.9 lets you ask it to investigate a transfer that has not arrived “within 5 (five) business days” of that decision.
The rules for deposit-and-withdraw-without-trading side by side. All three companies write one down. IQ Option: it may withhold its transaction fees and charge up to 5% of the withdrawal if you withdraw “all, most, or substantial amounts (for example, more than 50%)” of a deposit without genuine trades. Olymp Trade: its Regulation (clauses 2.1 and 2.2) lists among the signs of a suspicious operation “Abuse of transfers (deposits to the Client’s account, withdrawals from the Client’s account) without intention to perform trading transactions or with low/insignificant trading transactions volume” and says the criteria are not exhaustive; for suspicious operations (clause 1.6) it lets the company “Deduct up to 20% (Twenty percent) from any withdrawn amount”, debit bonuses and close the account. Binomo: 10% of the balance or of the last deposit, whichever is greater, until your trading turnover passes twice your deposit. These are the companies’ wording of what they may do, not what they did to anyone.
Inactive accounts. IQ Option’s General Fees Policy (text read on 5 October; the page still showed its 10 June 2025 update date on 22 October) says that after 90 consecutive days with no account activity it may take “an amount of €10” (or the equivalent in your currency) every month “in order to maintain the account”, if the account has the funds; logging in does not count. IQ Option’s FAQ (22 October) says the company may apply “a maintenance fee for the Inactive Account in the amount of €10 to the unused balance of the Client’s account” and calls it “The annual fee”, so the FAQ and the fees policy differ on how often it is charged. Olymp Trade’s Non-trading Transactions Regulation (clause 3.5) says that after 6 months without a transaction that changes your balance it “reserves the right to introduce a subscription fee (commission) for providing access to the Trading terminal”, the amount “determined by the Company at its discretion”. Clause 1.8 adds that it may close an account that has had no transactions for 12 consecutive months and holds no funds. Binomo charges $30 or €30 a month after 90 days.
Trade size and payouts
Trade size. IQ Option’s Help page says “The maximum amount you can invest is $20,000” and that it may vary by asset. We typed two out-of-range amounts into a Binary option on 22 October: 0.5 gave “The minimum amount for this asset is 1”, and 20001 gave “The investment amount entered exceeds the maximum allowable amount: 20000”. The same limits showed on four other products we tried (Digital, Gold Binary and two Blitz assets). Olymp Trade says trades start “with as little as $1”. The top of its range depends on your status: its Statuses page lists a maximum trade amount of $3,000 (Basic), $4,000 (Smart) and $5,000 (Pro and Elite) in Fixed Time, and $2,000, $3,000 and $4,000 in Forex mode, and its Trading Transactions Policy says it “reserves the right to set” “Limits on the minimum and maximum Trade amount for each asset” at any time.

Payouts. IQ Option’s Binary list on 22 October (about 03:00 UTC, a Practice account) held 132 options, from 93% for EUR/USD and GBP/USD down to 85% for six OTC assets. A Blitz option on EUR/USD (1 minute) showed +89%, and USD/HKD (OTC, 30 seconds) +87%. A few seconds apart, EUR/USD showed +91% as a Binary option and +86% as a Digital option. IQ Option’s Help page says it “reserves the right to decide and/or change the profitability percentage given to clients at any given time”, and its VIP page promises 3% to 5% more on select assets. Olymp Trade’s Statuses page gives a profitability of “Up to 85%” for Basic, and for the higher statuses “Up to 89%” on 2 assets (Smart), “Up to 93%” on 6 assets (Pro) and “Up to 95%” on 10 assets (Elite), all marked Fixed Time. InZone pays “a fixed 110% return rate” if the price finishes inside the range and loses the whole amount if it does not; the range is set by Olymp Trade from the asset’s volatility.

What a payout means. A correct trade pays that percentage of the stake and a wrong one loses all of it. At an 85% payout, about 54 of every 100 trades (1 / 1.85) must be correct just to break even; at 89% about 53, at 93% about 52 and at 95% about 51. These are the break-even points, not a prediction of anyone’s results.
Demo accounts
IQ Option. Its home page says “$10,000 preloaded in your demo account” and “Unlimited balance refills at any time”, and its Help page says “You can always top up your practice account for free if your balance drops below $10,000”. Our Practice balance showed $9,998.87 on 22 October. The Help page says “You cannot profit from the trades you make on a practice account”, and the Demo and Tournament Accounts terms say virtual funds “may not be withdrawn” and that demo positions are “kept open for a maximum period of one (1) month, except where the number of open positions exceeds the Company’s internal threshold”.
Olymp Trade. Its Account page lists “10,000 in refillable demo currency”, and its Free demo page lists “10,000 units of refillable virtual currency”, “The same functionality of a live account” and “All of our trading instruments” among its features; “This currency isn’t real and can’t be withdrawn.” The same page offers a simulator where you can “Practice trading right here — no registration or deposit required”. We did not open it or the registered demo.
So both give 10,000 of refillable virtual money, and neither page states a cap on the number of demo trades; Binomo’s demo, by contrast, stops at 30 trades until you deposit (see IQ Option vs Binomo). To practise on IQ Option, read how to register a Practice account.
Account levels and bonuses
Olymp Trade. Its Statuses page lists four, Basic, Smart, Pro and Elite, with these terms:
| Status | How to get it | Statuses page, 22 Oct 2026 (Fixed Time) |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | No amount named | Up to 85%. Trade up to $3,000. 5 open positions. Normal priority, “Completed within 24 hours”. 8 strategies, no indicator |
| Smart | Deposit from $100 | Up to 89% on 2 assets. Up to $4,000. 15 positions. High priority. 15 strategies, 1 indicator. 1 analyst consultation a month |
| Pro | Deposit from $2,000 | Up to 93% on 6 assets. Up to $5,000. 25 positions. Top priority, “a few hours”. 23 strategies, 5 indicators. 4 consultations a month |
| Elite | Deposit from $30,000 | Up to 95% on 10 assets. Up to $5,000. 100 positions. Top priority. 23 strategies, 5 indicators. Unlimited consultations |
The figures are the Statuses page’s own wording. Its FAQ says “You can get a higher status by making a one-time deposit to your account”: “Smart Status — from $100”, “Pro Status — from $2,000” and “Elite Status — from $30,000” (converted at the current exchange rate for other currencies), that a status is permanent (“it does not expire”) and that it is applied “as soon as the trader deposits a certain amount of money”. A note above the FAQ words Smart differently: “Smart status is given to traders who deposit at least USD 100 or its equivalent in another currency over any amount of time”, and tells you to ask support about Pro and Elite, so ask support whether smaller deposits add up. The page lists FT (Fixed Time) and FX (Forex) numbers separately; the table gives the Fixed Time ones. Olymp Trade’s Promotions FAQ still uses older names and numbers (“Advanced” at $500 or 100 USDT, “Expert” at $2000 or 500 USDT), so check the Statuses page for the current ones.
IQ Option. It has a Practice account, a real account, a swap-free Islamic account (see our Islamic account guide) and a VIP level. Its VIP page (22 October) asks for a “required country-specific amount”, one-time or cumulative over 60 days; its FAQ gives “$5,000 or more” and a trading volume of $20,000 in the last 60 days, and says that to keep VIP you must “deposit $3,000 or maintain a trading volume of $12,000” every 60 days (another answer on the page says “deposits totaling $3,000”). VIP lists a personal manager, priority withdrawals and verification, 24/7 support, signals, extra indicators, free tournament entry and a payout 3% to 5% higher on select assets. Olymp Trade also offers an Islamic account, which its FAQ says is “available upon request by contacting our support team”.
Bonuses. The three work differently. At IQ Option the cashier showed the code IQWELCOME already applied in every country we tested between 4 and 8 October; on our Brazilian account (8 October) its Bonus FAQ set the turnover at 40 times the bonus within 30 days, and withdrawals only after that or after you cancel the bonus. At Binomo a bonus carries a turnover of 35 or 40 times the bonus. Olymp Trade’s Bonus Welcome Program terms call the bonus “non-withdrawable” virtual money that you trade with, and add a “Task”: a trading volume that is a multiple of the bonus, valid for 30 calendar days. A fixed amount of real funds, the “Reward”, is “credited only upon completion of the Task”, and the bonus is then removed. The terms list a withdrawal request from an account with an active Task among the cases in which the program is cancelled and the progress lost, and say that cancelling it does not stop you withdrawing your own funds. The bonus works in Fixed Time and Flex only. Read the terms before you pay. See the IQWELCOME guide.
Assets and trade modes
IQ Option. The Practice menu on 22 October (about 03:02 UTC) listed Blitz 120, Binary 132 and Digital 117 options, and Margin 770; on 4 October the same menu showed 520 options and 697 margin instruments. Counts change with the day and the time. IQ Option’s home page menu lists these markets: crypto, ETFs, commodities, forex, indices and stocks. IQ Option’s Help page says that when markets close, from Friday 21:00 to Monday 00:00 GMT, it offers OTC assets whose quotes “are automatically generated on the broker’s server”.
Olymp Trade. Its own pages give four different counts: “Over 100 trading instruments” (home page), “Over 180 of the most popular assets” (Trading page), “over 190 global assets” (Assets page; the Fixed Time and desktop pages say “190+”) and “over 250” (Why Olymptrade page). The Assets page lists crypto, currencies, metals, ETFs, indices, stocks and composite indices, and OTC pairs. The trading modes are Fixed Time (from five seconds up to a month; the FAQ on that page also says 1 minute to 23 hours), Flex (floating returns, early close), Forex (multipliers, “Zero spread” with commissions from 0.6 pips), Stocks, InZone, Quickler and AI Trading, which its page marks “Coming soon”; its Trading page still says “Two online trading modes perfect for any trading style — Fixed Time Trades and Forex”. Some assets, tools and payouts depend on your status.
Both list OTC assets. Olymp Trade’s Forex page offers “Trade 24/7 on OTC and composite indices”, and its Service Agreement, Part 1 (clause 2.41) says “OTC Assets are quoted by the Company with the use of over-the-counter sources of information” and that the company “does not transmit such trades for execution to liquidity providers and executes them on its own account”. Our Binary vs Digital guide explains IQ Option’s two main option types.
Platforms and apps
IQ Option. The web traderoom, plus the apps on its download page (22 October): macOS (Apple chip and Intel chip), Windows (64-bit and 32-bit), Android (APK) and iOS (App Store). Its Help page says that on a computer the platform responds faster in the Windows and macOS app than in the browser.
Olymp Trade. A web app that installs as a PWA, desktop apps for Windows (x32 and x64) and macOS, an iOS app and Android apps through Huawei, Galaxy Store and an Android APK. Its home page offers 15 website languages. Binomo’s pages list apps for iOS and Android; we found no Windows or macOS app on them.
Tournaments
IQ Option. On 22 October its Tournaments panel on a Practice account registered in Brazil listed 4 running tournaments, with entry fees of $2 to $4 and prize pools of $3,000 to $50,000 (Brazil Weekly $2 and $3,000, Brazil Momentum $3 and $10,000, IQ Launch $4 and $10,000, October Global Tournament $4 and $50,000), and 11 upcoming ones at $2 each with pools of $1,000 or $5,000. A rebuy costs the entry fee again. IQ Option’s home page advertises tournaments with “No entry fees” and a “Prize pool up to $250,000”, while the panel we saw on 22 October listed entry fees of $2 to $4 and pools up to $50,000, so the page and the panel do not match. Details, risks and a cost worksheet are in our IQ Option tournaments guide.

Olymp Trade. Its Trading page advertises “Prize draws, tournaments and online trading competitions with prize pools of up to $500,000”, and its Promotions page says “Check the Events section for ongoing tournaments and contests”. We found no public page that lists the events, so we could not read a current tournament, its entry fee or its prize pool. Its Standard Promotional Terms say that conditions, the prize fund and its allocation “shall be determined by the Company” for each tournament, that a “Join” button counts as registration and that the company may change, suspend or cancel a tournament. Binomo’s Tournaments page listed four events with entry fees of €32 to €175 (see our Binomo page).
Scripts and custom indicators
This is the row that separates the two most clearly on the pages we read.
IQ Option. Its home page lists “Script Indicators”: “Build and save your own custom indicators on top of 100+ ready-to-use tools.” In the web traderoom, Chart analysis has a Scripts tab with Import script and Add manually, and the file picker accepts .lua and .txt files (read on 22 October). Our free library has 70 script files (56 chart scripts and 14 companion marker files), and a step-by-step guide shows how to add one: how to get and add a script on IQ Option. A script only draws lines and markers on the chart. It places no trades and it cannot say what the next candle will do.

Olymp Trade. We found no page about importing or writing your own indicator. What its pages say: the Technical analysis tools page counts “15 indicators”, “17 oscillators” and “45 trading strategies”, drawing tools, a “Smart RSI” assistant and trading signals, and shows that the number of strategies and special indicators depends on your status (Basic: 8 Fixed Time and 3 Forex strategies and no special indicator; Pro and Elite: 23 and 15 strategies and 5 indicators). The FAQ on that page says “Most trading strategies on the platform give you a set of rules on when to open a trade, but you still have to interpret these guides and press the button yourself.” Its Terms of Provision describe “additional software and microcode software integrated into the Company’s Trading Terminal”, provided “for a fee or free of charge” on a 30-day subscription. The Help Center block of its FAQ page lists “Custom strategies” (“Find out how to create and publish customized trading strategies”) and “Market and platform extensions” (“Learn about our wide selection of indicators, signals and advisers”). The FAQ page shows those blocks as plain text with no link, and we found no public address for the Help Center, so we could not read those articles and cannot say what creating or publishing a strategy involves. That a page does not mention a feature does not prove the platform lacks it.
On automated trading, Olymp Trade’s Service Agreement (clause 8.3) makes you liable for damage caused by “robotized and automated transaction algorithms and/or special software tools” that violate “integrity, honesty and fairness”; IQ Option’s terms (clause 4.7) say the company “shall bear no responsibility for any financial losses and/or technical issues that may arise in the event that an external trading bot is used when trading; the Client shall use the bot at their own risk”; Binomo’s Help Center says “you cannot use bots, artificial intelligence, or any type of specialized software to trade”. That is not an invitation. None of our scripts opens a trade.
Browse the 70 free IQ Option scripts
Our library holds 70 files for the chart: 50 strategy scripts, three signal engines, three context indicators and 14 markers files.
Risk: trading carries a high risk of loss. A script only draws on the chart and places no trade, and no script can say what the next candle will do.
Risks and costs to weigh
- A trade can lose the whole stake with any of the three companies, and a payout below 100% means more than half of your trades must be correct to break even.
- Each company’s rules let it deduct money if you withdraw without enough trading: up to 5% at IQ Option, up to 20% at Olymp Trade if it deems the operation suspicious, 10% at Binomo while turnover is low.
- Each can charge for an inactive account: €10 after 90 days at IQ Option (if the account holds funds; monthly per its fees policy, an “annual fee” per its FAQ), an amount at its discretion after 6 months at Olymp Trade, $30 or €30 after 90 days at Binomo.
- Olymp Trade’s “zero withdrawal fees” has exceptions, and its terms cancel the welcome bonus’s Task if you request a withdrawal while it is active. IQ Option charges 2% from the second withdrawal of a month and may add a conversion fee of up to 4%.
- Olymp Trade’s licence is its own statement, which we did not check, and IQ Option’s licence covers its EEA company only.
- Every number on this page is dated. Companies change limits, payouts, fees and country lists; check the company’s own page before you pay.
What we corrected since 5 October
We rebuilt this page on 22 October 2026. These are the changes that matter, so you can judge our earlier version:
- Olymp Trade’s top payouts. On 5 October we gave 89%, 93% and 95% as “maximum payouts” by status. The Statuses page says they apply to 2, 6 and 10 assets only.
- AI Trading. On 5 October we listed it among Olymp Trade’s trading modes. Its own page marks it “Coming soon for your device”.
- Trade size. We had no maximum for Olymp Trade; its Statuses page gives $3,000 to $5,000 by status.
- IQ Option’s payouts. The 5 October text gave 82% to 88% from our 70 Practice trades of 2 October and up to 91% on Blitz OTC pairs. The 22 October Binary list showed 85% to 93%.
- Asset counts. The 4 October counts (520 options, 697 margin) are replaced by the 22 October counts, which differ because lists change by day and time.
- Company sizes. We dropped the trader counts: the companies give figures that we cannot check.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which is better, IQ Option, Olymp Trade or Binomo?
A: None wins on every point, so we do not name one. IQ Option allows trades up to $20,000 and imports scripts; Olymp Trade names a Vanuatu licence, trades from five seconds and has a phone line; Binomo publishes payout and withdrawal-time tiers and names a Financial Commission membership. Your country, how you withdraw and what you want from the platform decide it. See “Who might prefer which”.
Q: What is the minimum deposit at IQ Option, Olymp Trade and Binomo?
A: $10 at all three. IQ Option shows $10, €10 or £10 in your account currency for most methods (R$ 55 in Brazil and 175 MXN in Mexico on 4 and 5 October; a few local methods ask for more). Olymp Trade says 10 dollars or euros. Binomo’s agreement says $10 or €10 and that some countries may pay less.
Q: Which has the highest trade limit?
A: IQ Option: $20,000. Olymp Trade: $3,000 (Basic), $4,000 (Smart) or $5,000 (Pro, Elite) in Fixed Time, by status. Binomo: $5,000.
Q: Which has the higher payout?
A: On 22 October IQ Option’s Binary list showed 85% to 93%. Olymp Trade says up to 85% (Basic), and up to 89%, 93% or 95% on 2, 6 or 10 assets at higher statuses. Binomo says up to 83%, 84% or 85% by status, and its home page advertises “up to 90% for the first deposit” in a crypto promotion. All can change payouts, and a payout is not a result: at 85%, about 54 of 100 trades must be correct to break even.
Q: Is Olymp Trade regulated?
A: It says it is “licensed and regulated” by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission and has been a Financial Commission member since February 22, 2016. We did not check the Vanuatu register. IQ Option’s licence (CySEC 247/14) belongs to its EEA company and covers EEA residents only; its terms name the Financial Commission for unresolved complaints.
Q: Does Olymp Trade charge withdrawal fees?
A: Its page says “Zero withdrawal fees*”, with exceptions: a network fee for USDT, a commission for other cryptocurrencies and fees that may apply if you deposit and withdraw without trading; its Non-trading Transactions Regulation lets it deduct up to 20% of a withdrawal it deems suspicious. IQ Option’s first withdrawal each calendar month is free, then 2% (at most $30).
Q: Do IQ Option and Olymp Trade both have a demo account?
A: Yes, each with 10,000 of refillable virtual money. IQ Option promises unlimited refills. Binomo limits its demo to 30 trades until your first deposit.
Q: Does Olymp Trade charge an inactivity fee?
A: It reserves the right to: after 6 months without a transaction that changes your balance it may introduce a subscription fee, in an amount it decides. IQ Option charges €10 after 90 days without activity if the account has funds (monthly in its fees policy, an “annual fee” in its FAQ); Binomo $30 or €30 a month after 90 days.
Q: Is Olymp Trade available in Brazil?
A: Its Service Agreement does not name Brazil among the countries it does not serve; Binomo’s agreement does. IQ Option’s terms do not name Brazil either, but its pages carry a notice that it is not authorized by the CVM to offer securities distribution services to residents of Brazil. We read Olymp Trade’s pages from a United Kingdom address and cannot say what a visitor in Brazil sees there.
Q: Can I use custom indicators or scripts on Olymp Trade?
A: We found no page about importing your own indicator. Its pages list built-in indicators, strategies and a Smart RSI assistant, some of them locked by status, and a Help Center block mentions “Custom strategies”, which we could not open. IQ Option’s web traderoom imports script files; see our guide.
Q: Can I use a trading bot on Olymp Trade or IQ Option?
A: Both write rules about it, and none of our scripts opens a trade. Olymp Trade’s Service Agreement (clause 8.3) makes you liable for damage caused by “robotized and automated transaction algorithms and/or special software tools” that violate “integrity, honesty and fairness”. IQ Option’s terms (clause 4.7) say it bears no responsibility for losses if “an external trading bot is used when trading” and that you use it at your own risk. Binomo’s Help Center says “you cannot use bots, artificial intelligence, or any type of specialized software to trade”. Read each document before you try one.
Q: Does Olymp Trade have tournaments?
A: Its pages say it runs tournaments and contests with prize pools of up to $500,000 and point to an Events section that is not on its public pages, so we could not read their fees. IQ Option’s panel listed four running tournaments at $2 to $4 to enter on 22 October, while its home page says “No entry fees”.
Q: Do both have desktop and mobile apps?
A: Yes. IQ Option has iOS and Android apps and Windows and macOS apps. Olymp Trade has iOS, Android (Huawei, Galaxy Store, APK), Windows, macOS and a web app that installs as a PWA.
